Real Good Help is devoted to protecting your privacy and complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other relevant state laws on personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use and disclose your personal information. It should be read together with our Terms of Use. The terms in the Privacy Policy (such as, but not limited to, “we”, “our”, “us”, “Platform”) have the same meaning as in our Terms of Use document. When you use our Platform, you accept and agree to both the Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to be bound to the Privacy Policy you should stop using the Platform immediately or discontinue providing the counselor services, as applicable. By using our Platform or providing the counselor services, as applicable, you assert that you have read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of use and that you understand, agree to and acknowledge all the terms contained in both of them.

What is personal information?
When used in this Privacy Policy, “personal information” has the meaning given in the Privacy Act: any information or an opinion that could be used to identify you. The Privacy Act 1988 defines personal information as:

- order a therapy session on our Platform or make related enquiries

- join our Platform as a registered user or therapist
- receive information from us including alerts via email
- download files
- receive information about or become involved in our loyalty programs or campaigns
- use our mobile applications
- work for us
You provide data to Real Good Help directly when entering information into forms on the website and some data is collected indirectly in order to authenticate and analyze your use of our service.
What personal information do we collect?
The personal information we may collect from you may include, but is not limited to, your name, country of residence, email address, home address, phone number, age or date of birth, gender, education, other demographic, professional or health information, communication preferences. The information we collect may include sensitive information and health information. We will not collect more personal information than we reasonably need to provide services to you.
If you order services from us or work with us as a therapist, you may also have to provide credit card details or online payment services information which will allow us to process your request and make the transaction, such as credit, debit or other card number, card expiration date, and CVV code.
You decide how much information you provide to us, but if you want to register as a member or subscriber of, or have a user or therapist account on our Platform, we require certain information from you in order to provide those services.
How do we use your personal information?
The personal information you provide to us may be used by us for the following purposes:
- to provide you with a more personalized user experience
- to verify your password/identity
- to allow you to obtain access to the interactive elements of our mobile applications and websites
- to provide you with the information or access to the services you have requested
- to process your payments or our payouts to you
- to involve you in our loyalty programs, marketing campaigns, research or other initiatives
- for the marketing and research purposes of Real Good Help, its contractors or service providers
- for internal administrative purposes
- for replies to your queries or complaints
- to keep your contact information up to date
- in the case of marketing automation, to improve the quality of emails that are sent to you, to personalize services, processes and content we offer you
Regardless of where in the world you reside, Real Good Help may transfer your data to Australia and process and store it there.
Which information do we receive from third-party social networking services or share with them?
If you choose to connect your account on our Platform to your account on another service, we may receive information from it. For example, if you connect to Google or Facebook, we may receive information you have provided to them (for example, your name, profile picture, age, language, email address, friend list). You may also choose to grant us access to your activity data from another service. You can stop sharing the information from the other service with us by removing our access to that other service. This information may also be used to verify your credentials with third party, such as Google.
You may choose to register for an account directly on our Platform, or through a third party social networking service (for example, Facebook lets you sign in using your existing Facebook credentials). If you choose to register via a social networking service, or to later link your accounts, we will use the personal information you have provided to the social networking service (such as your name, email address, gender and other information you make publicly available on the social networking service) to create your account, and what we collect depends on your privacy settings with that social networking service and the permissions you grant to us in connection with linking your account with the Platform to your account with the social networking service.
Real Good Help also may permit additional interactions between it and a third party website, service, or other content provider, such as enabling you to “like” or share content to a third party social networking service. If you choose to “like” or share content, or to otherwise share information from or via our Platform with a third party site or service, that information may be publicly displayed, and the third party may have access to information about you and your use of our Platform (and we may have access to information about you from that third party). These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.
Your interactions with third parties through a social networking service or similar features are governed by the respective privacy policies of those third parties.
You represent that you are entitled to use your social networking account for the purposes described above without breach by you of any of the terms and conditions that govern the third party services, and without obligating Real Good Help to pay any fees or making Real Good Help subject to any usage limitations imposed by such services. Your relationship with any social networking services is governed solely by your agreement(s) with such services. If your account with them terminates, then functions enabled through the link between your Real Good Help account and this account will terminate as well.
How do we store your personal information?
Any personal information that we collect is held with confidence. We use and implement professional and industry standards for the security and protection of information collected, this information is securely stored, and access is restricted to our authorized personnel only. We take reasonable steps to ensure the security of all information we collect, including that the information is protected from misuse and loss and from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the internet or information stored on servers accessible through the internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure. We also take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify your personal information once we no longer need it or have been directly instructed by you to permanently remove or limit personal information.
How do we disclose your personal information?
Personal information will only be disclosed to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Information may be provided to third parties where services relating to the purpose for which the personal information is collected are outsourced or you would reasonably expect us to disclose it to a third party for a particular purpose. How do our Platform, emails and mobile applications interact with your personal information?
- Facebook analytics
Our websites use Facebook analytics products, which track your actions on our website and collect information about your device, whether or not you have a Facebook account or are logged into Facebook. By using our website, you consent to Real Good Help disclosing this information to Facebook and Facebook using the information about you in the manner described in Facebook’s Data Policy. Our website and mobile applications use Google Analytics to help us understand traffic and usage in order to help improve our services and content. Our website and mobile applications also may use the following Google Analytics Advertising Features:

Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. This Privacy Policy may change. Any updated versions of this Policy will be posted on our websites and will be effective from the date of posting.
This Policy was last reviewed and updated on October 25 2022. Any changes to it will become effective upon posting of the revised Policy on the site. We encourage users to check our site frequently for the changes.
